Interests Beyond Scratch :: Things I'm Reading and Playing :: suggestions for new shows and books to read!!

Today ima start this new post, about some fandoms I got into!
I would highly recommend watching these shows and reading these books, however look up fan art at your own risk. There's some, well, stuff out there.
1. Percy Jackson
I read the first book for school last year, and I just kept on reading!
2. Harry Potter
This is probably one of the largest fandoms out there, and not gonna lie, the fandom has it pretty good. It's an amazing series and world, highly recommended ^w^
3. Voltron Legendary Defender
My dad used to watch the original, so he wanted me to watch the reboot. I saw it about 4 years after it came out, and have been part of the fandom ever since !
4. She-Ra
Like Voltron, She-Ra is a reboot that is still an ongoing series. It is amazing, has great characters, and super talented voice actors.
5. Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Not a reboot, but still amazing. It's incredibly recent, and came out around late 2019 to early 2020. The actress who played Glimmer in She-Ra also plays Kipo !
6. Gravity Falls
Amazing amazing amazing. Gravity Falls has a great storyline and setting, and the characters are super lovable. Incredibly well designed ^w^
7. Star vs. the Forces of Evil
I'm currently on season 3, and it is an amazing show. I love how there are different dimensions, almost like alternate universes. The characters are also pretty sick.
8. Magnus Chase/The Kane Chronicles/Trials of Apollo
Set in the same timeline as Percy Jackson, these series are amazingly well-written and have great plots. I would recommend to practically anyone.
9. Maximum Ride
A pretty old series, it is now being turned into a manga format ! Maximum Ride is about mutant kids who have avian/bird DNA, allowing them to have wings. The series is written by James Patterson.
10. Steven Universe
If you like intense fandoms, Steven Universe is for you. It has incredible characters, an incredible universe (no pun intended haha), and is amazingly designed. The gems are have great personalities, and the fandom even designs their own gems !
